Student Services

Health Services

Students have access to university infirmary which provide free-of-charge basic healthcare. The Health Centre offers first-aid, initial diagnosis and medical aid. Any students who need hospital attention will be transferred to the Thammasat University Hospital at Rangsit Center or to the Siriraj Hospital near the Tha Prachan, or provide guidance in suggesting to go to another international hospital. Mental health counseling and guidance is also provided at Viva City free of charge to all students.

For first aid and minor checkups, the Well Being Center is located at the SC Building, a minute’s walk from TSE

Thammasat University Hospital

Thammasat Chalerm Phrakiat Hospital is an on-campus public hospital providing a full range of health care services for its students, staff and the community of Pathum thani. The services include outpatient, inpatient, emergency medical services, and other health care services. Medical staff are on duty 24 hours a day. Students are eligible for free medical services covering basic needs.

Viva City

The university also provides free mental health counseling for all its students at Viva City located in the Rangsit Campus. Students can either walk-in for counselling or schedule an appointment as they prefer. Counselling is available in both Thai and English.

Banking Services

Upon enrollment, students will be assisted in opening a Krung Thai Bank account, as it is the official bank of Thammasat University that processes the student ID cards.

Branches of the Thai Military Bank, Bangkok Bank, Krung Thai, Kasikorn Bank, among others are also located on campus. Many ATM machines are located conveniently through-out the campus as well.

Library Services

Thammasat School of Engineering has a newly built Resource Center, which houses an engineering library and a multimedia centre. The multimedia centre is equipped with multimedia computers and a wide selection of educational software. Furthermore, at Rangsit campus, students can use the Puey Ungphakorn Library, which has a sizable collection of technical books, non-technical books, and magazines. All libraries also have a computerised search system to assist students in locating their information sources. An automatic borrowing and book return service has been implemented at the Puey Ungphakorn Library to provide greater convenience for all students.

Computer Center

Thammasat School of Engineering has three computer rooms, which are equipped with more than 150 computers. All of the computers are linked to the university network and internet, and contain all softwares needed by our students for their engineering studies.

Training is occasionally offered to students and staff by experienced members of staff.

Apart from the above, there are several computer rooms available at on-campus libraries. Students can access them using their student ID cards during operating hours.
